When you sign the petition, we ask for:

• Your full name (displayed publicly, unless you choose otherwise)
• Your email address (kept private, used for verification and duplicate prevention)
• Your location (optional, may be displayed publicly if you provide it)
• A short message about why Darwin should return (optional, may be displayed publicly)
• A hashed record of your IP address used only to prevent spam and rate limits

We use your information only to run this petition:

• To count and display your signature toward the campaign goal
• To send a one-time email verification link from notify@bringbacknunez.com
• To prevent duplicate signatures and detect abuse
• To share the total number of supporters and selected public messages with the club and media

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing. We do not display your email address publicly. We do not use your data for any purpose unrelated to this petition.

Your data is stored through Lovable Cloud (a managed backend platform) and protected by the platform's built-in security features, including encryption in transit and row-level access controls. Only this campaign's server-side code can read or write signature data.

When you sign, we send a confirmation email to the address you provide. Your signature only counts toward the goal after you click the verification link. If you do not receive the email, check your spam folder or contact us.

This petition does not use its own tracking cookies or advertising analytics. Standard browser cookies may be used only to keep you signed in or to remember that you have already signed the petition on this device.

We keep your signature information for as long as the campaign is active or until you ask us to delete it. To remove your signature or personal data, email us at the address below with the email address you used to sign.

You can ask us to:

• Delete your signature and personal data
• Correct inaccurate information
• Confirm what information we hold about you
